Class Description: A Super Manager is one that not only avoids negative interactions with the people they manage, but also has purposeful, positive interactions that help staff stay engaged, happy, and on board with the library’s mission. It can be a delicate balance that is difficult to achieve, and it requires both self-awareness and attentiveness to others. This course is designed to help you recognize the sometimes-contradictory qualities of a Super Manager – being both consistent and flexible, displaying both humility and confidence, and helping employees maintain focus in a fun working environment.
